About Me

Hi, I am Wing Kit Lee. You can call me Keith.

I was born and raised in Hong Kong, a multicultural city with mixed cultures. I have ingrained in travel and photography for more than 20 years. I completed my photography diploma in Hong Kong in 2007.

I am inspired by the wonder of the World and the miracle of God’s creation. Through my lens, you can discover the beauty of the World and how people live there.

I am a cultureholic person, I love to learn the history and culture of the places I visit. I believe photos tell stories. People will start aware of the story behind the scene. I am also a photographic guide, I have successfully organized many photographic tours to different provinces of China, North Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Myanmar. In addition, I closely worked with camera equipment brands such as Nikon, Fujifilm, Olympus, Hasselblad, Zeiss, Tamron, Sigma, Voigtlander, Manfrotto, HPRC, Lowepro by organizing photographic courses, seminars and tours.

I am staying in Toronto now. Canada, the second largest country in the World, is also a diversely cultural country. I will continue my exploration there.

About my life

I like hiking since I was very young. When I climbed at the top of mountains or walked along the unpaved paths, I discovered the World is so beautiful. Thanks to my parents who gave me such an outgoing character that allows me to continue exploring the World. After finishing high school, I bought my first camera (Canon EOS 50 with EF 24-105mm lens). My life has been changed. I started taking landscape of my home country (Hong Kong), I went out every weekend to capture the nature of Hong Kong. Some of my photos have been published in magazines.

Film photography reinforced my photographic knowledge as I need to think concisely before pressing the shutter. In 2007, I completed my photographic diploma in Hong Kong. During my study, I was inspired by legendary such as Ansel Easton Adams, Henri Cartier-Bresson, they not only widened my horizon in photography and art sense but also inspired me to start taking people, cultural activities and traditions.

Couple years later, I had an opportunity to organize some local photographic activities at the company I worked. I became a photographic guide and participated in this job for more than 10 years. I successfully organized different types of niche tours, photographic classes, seminars and co-brand promotional activities.

I closely worked with photographic equipment brands such as Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Olympus, Hasselblad, Zeiss, Tamron, Sigma, Voigtlander, Manfrotto, HPRC, Lowepro. I also worked with travel agencies, airlines and tourism boards to promote their products.

Recently I have started a new life in Toronto which is a multicultural city with different races and cultures. Canada is the second largest country in the World, this vast land possesses kaleidoscopic landscape such as well-known Rocky Mountain, aurora in Yellowknife, polar bear in Churchill, the glacier in NW territory, Appalachian Mountain range in Atlantic provinces. There are also many festivals in Toronto organized by different races, Sakura Festival in Mississauga, Caribbean Festival in downtown Toronto, CNE, Toronto Jazz Festival, Chinese Lantern Festival, etc.

Last but not least, I want to take this opportunity to thank my parents, family members and all people who love me, they are my primary motivation to move forward.

About my work

Due to my past job experience, my photographic style tends to be commercial. I create my photographic style by using big contrast to attract people's attention. As you can see from my portfolio, I like taking people at very close distance if allows, some landscape photos too. Except for personal interest, I also participate in commercial photography, culinary photography, studio portrait and stage performance photography.

Thanks to the advancement of photographic equipment, timelapse photography is common nowadays. I like timelapse photography because it gives stunning angle of view that we cannot see in normal life.
