Umbrella Movement, large democracy protest of anti-Chinese Government influence in Hong Kong

In 2014, Hong Kong underwent a large protest to repel the increasing influence from Chinese Government. Protestors demanded for more transparent elections and expressed their discontent of pre-screening the candidates of Hong Kong Chief Executive. Under the protest, Umbrellas were used to defend pepper spray from Hong Kong police. Many people also silently expressed their wants, demands and blessing on Lennon Wall, located outside the Central Government Complex of HKSAR, at Admiralty.
